After twelve years living abroad, in 2023 I returned to Belarus—to my hometown of Minsk, where my childhood and youth were spent. The city met me with changes, and I met it with the transformed gaze of a mature person and a photographer. This project became an attempt to explore the urban landscape through the lens of personal memory and nostalgia. Exploring both familiar old places and unfamiliar new neighborhoods, I lived through a return home and a sense of belonging to the local time. This life cycle seemed endless, but in the spring of 2025, for political reasons, I was forced to leave Minsk once again.
